What is the relationship between the through-type 4-wheel alignment and the deviation of the car?

When it comes to car deviation, we need to pay attention. Car deviation is a relatively dangerous car failure. If it is not corrected in time, it is easy to cause some minor accidents in normal driving. Especially on the highway, a car with a deviation fault is very dangerous.

So the question is, how do you know if your car is going off the track? Maybe it's hard for those who are not experienced to tell the difference. Here, Kongdangdang will give you a new trick on how to check if your car is going off the track.

Car deviation is a situation in which a car voluntarily deviates to one side while driving straight on a flat road, causing the line connecting the centers of the front and rear axles of the car to be inconsistent with the center line of the driving trajectory. Excessive deviation may lead to tire bite and damage, or even tire blowout and uncontrollable car.

The process for drivers to check whether the direction is off:

① Ensure that the standard air pressure of the four tires is exactly the same.

② When the car is moving straight on a vertical ground, the steering wheel is in the vertical center and the car does not deviate from the direction; at this time, the car is normal.

③ If there is no deviation in the vertical ground driving, it is just that the steering wheel angle is tilted, which has nothing to do with the four-wheel alignment. You only need to adjust the length of the upper and lower support rods of the steering gear to solve it.

④ If the car deviates from the direction when driving on the vertical ground, you need to turn the steering wheel to one side to correct the deviation. This is the problem of 4-wheel alignment.

Solution to steering wheel deviation: If you find that the steering wheel is deviated, you can do a four-wheel alignment. While doing the four-wheel alignment, install a steering wheel alignment instrument to ensure that the steering wheel is level, and then adjust the inclination angle of the front wheels.
