①Static data measurement method

The static data analysis technology measurement method of wheel positioning is to use special testing instruments to conduct precise measurement of wheel positioning geometry and angles based on the immediate or intermittent geometric information between the wheel rotation and the wheel positioning when the car is stationary. The main testing instruments used generally include bubble translation type, electronic optical type, laser type, electronic type and microcomputer type tire detectors or through-type wheel alignment instruments. Tire detectors and wheel alignment instruments can be collectively referred to as wheel detectors.

② Dynamic measurement method

The dynamic detection method of vehicle positioning is to detect the lateral force caused by the positioning of the vehicle at a certain speed, or the side slip caused by the positioning of the vehicle. In order to better determine whether the front wheel toe and the front tire camber angle are appropriate, the dynamic measurement method can be used to detect the front tire side slip. The test instruments used are two types: the pallet side slip test bench and the manual vehicle precision positioning test bench.

At present, almost all the dual-rail slider test benches in China are used for dynamic testing. The test bench is a test instrument that uses the accurate measurement of the up and down deflection of the double seesaw to detect the side slip of the front tire and determine whether it meets the standard. If the rear tire has camber and the front tire, we can also use the side slip test bench to accurately measure whether the camber of the rear tire is consistent with the camber of the rear tire.
