Installation and calibration preparation of 4-wheel alignment instrument for contact dynamic surface measurement
- 2020-09-11-

4. Equipment installation and calibration

1. Installation

1. Place the test bench into the trench

2. Alignment of the test bench

3. Weld the anchor bolts firmly

(2) Leveling calibration

1. Use a laser level to level the 4 wheel alignment instruments. The height difference of the 4 support roller groups should be ±0.1mm.

2. When the coaxial floating rollers on the left and right sides are locked, the parallelism error of the inner busbar of each set of rollers shall not exceed 0.2mm\/m

(3) Connecting pipelines

Power lines, gas lines, signal lines, etc. (the lines and circuits on the host have been reserved).

4. Wheel Alignment Zero Point Calibration Process

Place the equipment on the calibration screen and place the calibration device on the front wheel detection part of the equipment. Start the roller motor and the detection mechanism. After the three rollers of the detection mechanism are firmly attached to the calibration device, set the toe-in camber angle to zero, and the front wheel zero-point calibration is completed. The same applies to the rear wheel.

4. Self-calibration specification for wheel alignment device

Place the calibration device on the standard platform and verify whether the angle between the outer end faces of the two standard wheels of the calibration device and the plane of the standard platform is 90 degrees.

1. Measure the values 6 times continuously, remove the largest and smallest values, and take the average value of the remaining 4 times as the calibration error value. The error is not more than 1.5' as the qualified standard.

2. Rotate the calibration device 90 degrees and repeat the above measurement for 6 consecutive times, remove the maximum and minimum values, and take the average value of the remaining 4 times as the measurement error value. The error is not more than 1.5', which is the qualified standard.

3. If both items 1 and 2 above are qualified, it proves that the calibration device meets the calibration requirements. Otherwise, find out the reason why the error exceeds the standard.

5. Preparation before using the equipment

1. Check that the power cord, signal line, gas circuit, plug and socket of each part are intact;

2. Check that the power supply meets the following requirements: AC220V±10%, 50Hz. If the power supply voltage fluctuates too much, it is recommended that the user install a voltage stabilizer on at least the AC220V instrument power supply line;

3. Connect the speed sensor line and the solenoid valve power line to the corresponding instruments;

4. Turn on the power, preheat for about 30 minutes, and use manual control to check whether the lifting and lowering functions of the lifting system are normal, and check whether the output signal of the speed sensor and the instrument display are normal;

5. Before the formal inspection, all fasteners must be checked for looseness, and only after they pass the inspection can they be put into use.
