Development module for ADAS advanced driver assistance calibration equipment
- 2019-06-14-

There are more than 20 ADAS functional definitions in the world.

ADAS advanced driver assistance calibration equipmentThe international definition of the system's functions includes more than 20 driving assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control ACC, lane departure warning system LDWS, collision avoidance or pre-collision system, pedestrian protection system, automatic parking system, blind spot detection, etc.

Due to the wide range of functions involved in the ADAS advanced driver assistance calibration equipment system, major automobile manufacturers and electronics-related companies tend to focus on the development of several sub-areas. However, no matter which field the function belongs to, it usually includes the following specific modules:

(1) Information collection. Different systems and different types of vehicle sensors, including millimeter wave radar, ultrasonic wave, infrared radar, lidar, CCD\/CMOS image sensor and wheel speed sensor, collect the parameters and changes of the vehicle and its working status, and convert the changed mechanical motion into electrical parameters (voltage, resistance and current). For example, the lane departure warning system uses CMOS image sensor, the night vision system uses infrared sensor, the adaptive cruise control generally uses radar, and the parking assist system uses ultrasonic wave, etc.;

(2) Electronic control unit (ECU), which analyzes and processes the information collected by the sensor and then outputs the control signal to the control device;

(3) Actuator: Based on the signal output by the ECU, the car completes the action.
