Don't underestimate the high-speed ABS brake test bench
- 2019-07-20-

Nowadays, with the improvement of living standards, the popularity of cars is also increasing. People should put safety first. After all, cars are a means of travel. In order to ensure good driving safety, you can better experience the fun of driving. Car braking performance is one of the main safety performances of cars. But many very serious accidents are caused by reasons such as long braking distance of the car or side bending during braking. At present, ABS anti-lock braking system is available on many cars, but do you know the importance of ABS? Don't be careless, it can save lives at critical moments!

1. The principle of high-speed ABS brake test bench. When it comes to ABS, many people may not understand its meaning. Its full name is anti-lock braking system, and ABS is its English abbreviation. ABS anti-lock braking system can automatically adjust the braking force of the wheels during braking to prevent the wheels from locking. It can achieve perfect braking effect. The braking performance of the car can actually be viewed from three levels: one is the reduction of braking distance and braking speed; the second is the heat resistance effect and water braking effect in car braking; the third is the stability of the car's braking direction, whether it is prone to side slip or even rollover. ABS targets these problems by controlling the pressure on the brake pipe acting on the wheel brake pump, so that the wheels will not lock during emergency braking, and the direction of the vehicle can be maintained even in emergency braking.

2. The importance of having ABS. The ABS anti-lock braking system can effectively improve the braking effect of the car and increase the safety factor of the car's braking. If the car does not have ABS, the braking safety factor will be greatly reduced. Because when the car is running, there will be friction between the tires and the road, which is usually called road adhesion. When the car is running, it is inevitable to encounter emergencies, and most people can use emergency braking. But if there is no ABS braking system, the braking force will be greater than the adhesion of the road, causing the car's brake wheels to lock and slide sideways. Vehicles without anti-lock braking systems are prone to brake locking, avoiding obstacles, pedestrians and curves, as well as dangerous phenomena such as tail swing and even turning. However, under harsh road conditions such as slippery roads or icy and snowy roads, vehicles without ABS are more likely to be locked by the brakes, and dangerous situations such as side slipping, deviation from the driving trajectory, and loss of control of the vehicle direction may occur in an instant. So don't be careless, ABS can save lives at critical moments!

3. ABS also has limitations.

Although vehicles equipped with ABS greatly improve braking safety, it is difficult to provide the shortest braking distance in some special cases. Facing some flat and dry roads and loose gravel roads, soft dirt roads or roads with deep snow, we remind everyone to pay attention to safety when driving at low speeds. The latest ABS technology can only control the slip rate within a certain range. But it can provide an effective steering control capability.
