The 4-wheel alignment instrument is a high-precision testing instrument used to check the 4-wheel alignment parameters of the car and compare them with the original design parameters. After obtaining the 4-wheel alignment parameters, the relative parameters are adjusted according to the needs to make them meet the original design requirements, so as to achieve the desired driving characteristics of the car, such as easy control, stable and reliable driving, and reduced tire wear.
2. The reason for the four-wheel alignment of the car
The car will deviate from the direction when driving straight; the tire is abnormally damaged, such as one side of the tire is damaged or there are bumps and feathers; the steering wheel is too heavy or too light when turning and the steering wheel shakes when driving quickly; replace tires, steering rods, shock absorbers and other accessories; after a collision accident.
3. The whole process of car 4 wheel alignment
Preparation:
① Drive the car onto the lift. Before the car is driven in, use the clamping pin to clamp the corner plate to prevent it from rotating; drive the car onto the lift so that the front tire is exactly in the center of the corner plate; after the car stops, tighten the brakes and put wheel wedges at the rear tire position to ensure that the car does not move.
② Check the chassis components, including buffer blocks, rolling bearings, shock absorbers, support rods and balls, to see if they are loose or damaged, check the tire pressure and specifications, check if the tire tread depth is consistent and if there are stones, etc. If any abnormality is found, take effective measures to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
③ Turn on the computer and enter the main interface of the measurement system.
④Install the monitoring target. When installing, pay attention to the two small ones to be clamped on the front tire rim, and the two large ones to be clamped on the rear tire. Also, make sure that the fixture is perpendicular to the target and directly facing the monitoring camera.
⑤After the installation of the four targets is completed, click "Information System-Target Monitoring" on the main interface to enter the target monitoring page, and lift the car so that the four targets appear within the valid range. After the car is lifted, press the lift lock safety button immediately to ensure the stability of the lift and the safety of the personnel.
