In 1982, the Line Highway Institute developed a logic circuit type high-speed ABS brake test bench and conducted relevant road tests. Then in 1985, Dongfeng Motor Corporation also introduced the German pneumatic high-speed ABS brake test bench and installed it on the EQ140 vehicle for relevant road tests. At the same time, it also independently developed ABS electronic control components on this basis. In 1999, my country formulated and issued GB12676-1999 and other standards on automobile braking systems as mandatory regulations for the automobile industry. Compared with foreign countries, the research on high-speed ABS brake test benches in my country started relatively late. Although pneumatic high-speed ABS brake test benches can be designed and manufactured in China, due to foreign technology blockades, hydraulic high-speed ABS brake test benches are relatively difficult and other difficulties. At present, hydraulic high-speed ABS brake test benches still need technical improvements. In general, The research of high-speed ABS brake test bench in my country has a certain gap with the research level of foreign countries in terms of software and hardware. The first thing to do in the development direction is to reduce the gap, but the overall development trend and direction are basically the same as those of foreign countries.

To date, more than 90 percent of passenger cars produced in my country are equipped with high-speed ABS brake test benches. Although there are many manufacturers producing ABS, the market share of high-speed ABS brake test benches produced independently in my country is very small, and we need to increase our independent research and development and market development capabilities.
