Using a dynamic 4-wheel alignment can keep the car stable and straight, make steering easier and more convenient, and reduce tire damage during driving, and reduce fuel consumption. But do you know the assembly process before testing the alignment? Let me explain it to you below.
1. Preparation before entering the car:
1. Before the test run, be sure to check whether the tire pressure meets the requirements. There is no obvious damage to the tread.
2. Make sure the width of the elevator car's support plate meets the front and rear wheelbase of the vehicle being tested, then lower the elevator car to the lowest point, make sure the stabilizing pins of the corner plate and rear side slide are inserted, and then remove the vehicle being tested.
3. The car on the lift should move along a parallel line and the car body should not be tilted.
4. The front wheel of the car should fall on the center of the two corner plates, and the corner plates should be evenly distributed on both sides of the tire.
5. Dynamic 4-wheel alignment After the car is turned off, press the hand brake pedal and roll down the left front window. The driver needs to leave the car.
6. The operator must start the front and rear of the car to repair the suspension. Then assemble the 4 fixtures.
Assembly fixture:
1. Adjust the clamp according to the requirements of the large vehicle alignment instrument for the size of the vehicle tire. First, adjust the position of the two polyester claws to the appropriate size, and then adjust the extension length of the two clamping arms.
2. First, place the two lower polyester claws on the edge of the steel ring protrusion, loosen the knob of the upper polyester claw, adjust its position, and press it on the edge of the steel ring protrusion, then tighten the knob.
3. In the next stage of the dynamic 4-wheel alignment, use two hands to push the movable rod on the quick clamp at the same time, so that the quick clamp arm is stuck on the wheel pattern, and then hang the safety hook to check whether the quick clamp assembly is firm.
